I have to go on a little rant here. I’m feeling a little like Keyshawn Johnson talking about Matt Leinart here. In case you haven’t heard, the newspaper industry is facing some tough times. Jeff and I hired employee #5 this week – a full-time web developer. A huge step to say the least. Our first full-time hire since we purchased the business in April. There was an article in the Times-Union yesterday entitled, Economy looking up in the Berkshires (Eric Anderson, Business Editor). Mr. Anderson cites “blockbuster events, warm, dry weather, and a recovering economy” as being the reasons for the boost in tourist activity here this summer which has helped the local economy.
